Inside Indie isn't necessarily just about staying inside of Indie. It's also about showing you all Indiana has to offer. That's why we And right now we take you to Jackrabbit Coffee in Anderson. That's where they're not just serving up delicious drinks, they're transforming the path and narrative of their community. Our passion from the very beginning has been our community. I live in this neighborhood. I have for almost 20 years now. And with the exit of GM in the 90s, Anderson took it pretty hard. And I've lived down here and it was Really what we needed to create down here in this neighborhood was reasons for people to want to be down here. And so we started branding the neighborhood. You'll notice on the side of the building we did a large mural, Welcome to the West Central District. And so our passion has always been to connect with our community and to really show genuine hospitality. We try to encourage community gatherings here. So you have a lot of city officials coming from meetings or real estate agents doing closings or other things What's probably some of the popular items here? Two drinks. One is our house-made vanilla syrup latte, our vanilla latte. We use organic Madagascar vanilla beans. It's very subtle, it's wonderful, it's extremely popular. The other is probably our Blackberry dark chocolate latte. We added that as a special a couple years ago and it was so popular. We just put it on our menu all the time and it's been a fan favorite for a few years. We have such a strong, committed base of people that want to see us succeed, that want to change the narrative of what a lot of these post-GM towns have experienced. We found it to be extremely rewarding to work with our community and try to engage in it in every way we can.
