Alright, today we're checking out Waffle Rush in Anchorage, Alaska. This place is family owned and operated and they're serving up probably one of the best waffles I've had in a very long time. There was so many different options to choose from so I'm definitely coming back for more. First up I tried the Banana and Nutella Stuffed French Toast. This was encrusted with frosted flakes, stuffed with bananas and a lot of Nutella. So definitely if you have a sweet tooth give this one a try. It was so delicious, so crunchy. Next up we ordered the Boss and this was actually one of their Leage Waffles and it's one of their specialty waffles and they're imported with Pro Sugar here so it has a nice candied crunch with every bite. This was an amazing flavor, texture was a beautiful thing too. Make sure you give that one a try. And here was a good old farmer's breakfast. They've perfected this one. Mama Deb, the owner here knows how to pick the right potatoes. That was so crunchy, so crispy. You've got to try it to know what I'm talking about. It also came with their homemade biscuits and their homemade honey butter. This was so delicious. The butter melted perfectly and every bite was so nice and flaky. And this is what I was so excited to get was their chicken and waffles. This was their homemade southern style fried chicken just in the Tennessee hot oil and it was just delicious. It was all over the chicken. Every bite you can feel that spicy flavorful in your mouth. You got to try the chicken on its own before you try it with the ranch or the maple syrup because you got to appreciate the seasoning, the crunch and every bite. With the ranch it was perfect too because it was very refreshing because it's kind of spicy and very, very hot. Now if you The maple pecan syrup with the waffles, this is a classic waffle here. It just pairs so well. Sweet and fluffy from the waffle, but still spicy and crunchy from the chicken tenders. With this one to try you would definitely love this one. And if you can't handle the spicy ones, they've got regular chicken and waffles too. Make sure you eat your fruit because Mama Deb will come out and make sure you do.
