A dedicated Third Wave coffee shop and roasting facility proudly located in Albuquerque NM
Prismatic Coffee is the culmination of years of experience in the industry and an unending curiosity for craft coffee. Coffee is an amazing and dynamic ingredient that is often created without thought, expertise or frankly much care. Every link of the chain matters, from the grower to the roaster to the person making your cup. Prismatic Coffee believes strongly that coffee should never be endured, but rather enjoyed. If you ever find yourself reaching for the half and half or sugar to improve your black coffee, you’re missing out. Black coffee should be delicious. Making bad coffee is easy, that’s why there's so much of it. Most people reach for the cream and sugar to masque or dampen poorly executed coffee. A cup of craft coffee will be complex, smooth, rich and enjoyable every time; eliminating the “need” for cream and sugar and opening up the possibility of really tasting your coffee. Coffee has a huge range of possible flavors, and we plan on finding them all.
If you've never been to a third-wave style coffee company, it's going to feel a lot different. We aren'trying to appeal to everyone. We are simply trying to make the best coffee when you have to make. We are curating our menu to highlight coffee's potential in ways that we feel are best. We only have four items on the menu. So in many ways it's really easy to order here because there's only four options. There's no sizes, there's no flavors to put in the coffee, but the idea is that everything you order here is really good. We've taken the time to make sure that everything that we offer is top-tier and delicious. Coffee's a fruit and a lot of people aren't really aware of that. It's a cherry. With that, there are lots of different flavors that can sort of be in it. Everything from milk chocolate to cranberry to lemon to orange pith. It's our goal is to really sort of find as many flavors and as much complexity in coffee as we can. I think above all, it's about taste. Buying good coffee is roast them and prepare them in ways that are delicious. We want to be welcoming and educate people about it and be proud of what we offer.
