British Motorcycle Gear

Alright guys, this is a review of sorts for British motorcycle gears, Montana jacket. This is their only color available. It's categorized or it's listed as black, but it's not a true black. It's a very, very dark brown. You might not be able to tell here, sorry I got a spray paint on my hands, but you might not be able to tell here in this indoor lighting, but definitely in the sun you can tell that it's just a very dark brown. For contrast I guess you can see this black internal liner that goes with it. So hopefully you can tell the difference in colors there. Most of the time it does look black, Definitely at night it looks black, but yeah, during the day it's just a very dark brown. So if that's not your speed, take that in consideration. But things that I And they feel great, they never get caught. I also like this rain gutter here, so if you do get caught in the rain, It has a satin liner throughout, which is nice. It has only one internal pocket. It would have been nice if there was another, but Also you can zip it to your pants if you have that. This jacket comes fully armored, or availability to be fully armored. It has the shoulder armor, nox shoulder armor, and the elbow and forearm armor. And you can buy the optional back armor. I don't have it, but it's nice that you can add that there. I have a size 38 as you can see. It's great. All four pockets have these perforations in them. But the only thing is it doesn't really vent too well, just because there's not much, or there's a lot to go through. So it doesn't do a whole lot, at least that I've noticed during the s But It might do a little bit, I just can't notice. So there's that. And then on the backside there's vents as well. Which is nice. And I like how it's just, There's this to give it a little bit of depth, I guess. And I kind of prefer the snaps just because they're easier to do. But these work good. You can adjust it as you see fit. But it fits great. What I would say is that when you first get it, although it does feel great, and it is very soft leather, when you first wear it, it feels very stiff on you. So for example here in the elbow, whenever I would reach up to my Senna or my GoPro and my helmet, it would just And it would actually hurt quite a bit. It would just pinch my arm. And also because of the armor here, the full armor, my forearms felt very tight in the jacket. And I called a rep and asked if I want a size R2 up from a 38 if that would help at all. And he said that mainly the only difference I would see is the length of the arms and the length of the torso and obviously the circ So he said, So I gave it time. He gave me two weeks with it. He said wear it around. You could take off the tags and just get comfortable on it, which was great. And sure enough, it broke in and it feels great now. This doesn't bother me at all, which is great. Another little thing is that when I wear it, it tends to bunch up here around the neck, right under this collar here. It kind of bunches up there and it doesn't bother me. I don't feel it necessarily, but I can see it. And the same service rep told me that if I had the armor, it would most And there's, And again, it's just a minor thing. Oh, also before I forget, a great addition is they have gussets here. So when you reach for your bars, they open up. So you have a lot more maneuverability there, which is great. Also going back to the liner. Again, it's not much of a liner. It's only a vest and it's really thin. I don't know if you can tell, but it's, So this might not be necessary, but it's great that it comes with it. Nice little addition. So if I had to recommend it, I definitely would. I've loved mine. It's got to be It's very nice leather. By the way, it's incredibly dirty because I've been using it every day for the past month. I've taken it camping, used as a pillow. Just throw it on the back of my bike when it's too warm for it. And, I've been getting a lot of compliments on it, which is nice. And the most important thing is it keeps me safe. If I were to go down, So it's, I haven't seen any videos on it, so I figured I'd make one. Now, if somebody's interested in it, they can get a better idea of what exactly they're getting. And I guess that'll conclude the video.
