The Hunter Jumper Store, LLC began as a crazed passion to bring english apparel and tack choices to the Midwest Missouri market after the founder, Debbie Tunnell, spent four very frustrating years trying to outfit her hunter/jumper daughter and pony in a region without an english tack store. The nearest english tack store was more than 150 miles away and had been in business so long they had lost their compassion for the beginner show mom who drove more than 2 hours to spend a months savings on a little girl's dream. Sifting through thousands of options within online warehouses without genuine personal advice was often the costly alternative. Fast forward four years of questions, bad choices and ringside education and happy birthday Hunter Jumper Store! Once the business plan and financing was complete, the store mission began to transform after a trip to the largest english apparel market proved that not only were options in the area limited, they were two years behind! Safety options were changing, style and comfort were being prioritized and individuality was entering the show ring. The region was missing out. As a horse-passionate, show-mom herself, there is no better way for Debbie to spend a day than talking horse and helping others who have the same apparel and tack challenges and needs. In addition to genuinely serving the customers, HJS will serve charity. Besides supporting as many regional show associations, clubs and organizations as possible, HJS will endeavor serve the Pegaus Project, Inc. with financial contributions based upon gross sales.
