Now, I personally have built so many e-commerce sites. I've tried every single builder that we're talking about Each one has their specific pros and cons, as well as best use case. So I'm going to go over all that. And yeah, I promise you one of these e-commerce store builders will be right for you. Okay, so let's get started. So the first e-commerce store builder we're talking about today is WooCommerce. This is a free plugin that allows you to build an online store for probably the lowest price possible. And if you specifically want to build a WordPress site, then this is the one to use. So essentially WooCommerce is an open source WordPress plugin, and it basically adds e-commerce functionality to any WordPress site. It's used by millions of people and for good reason. First is the integration with WordPress. So if you already have a WordPress site, or you want to start using WordPress, this is going to allow you to take advantage of the power of WordPress, all the blogging and SEO tools, plus give you the ability to sell products. Now, This is usually going to be a few dollars per month. My top recommendation is just to use something They're the most affordable hosting service out there. I use them for all of my WordPress websites. And you really just cannot go wrong. Using Hostinger plus WooCommerce is the cheapest option on this list by far. And I'll have a link down below. If Oh, and by the way, this one plan allows you to build up to 100 different websites, which is just insane. Now, one thing I love about WooCommerce is just how powerful and customizable it can be. So yeah, just So there are tons of shipping, tax, marketing tools that you can get to add functionality to your WooCommerce store. Since it is open source, you own it yourself. All the data is yours. And I really And yeah, So if you are trying to create a blog or have really powerful SEO, but you want to add that online store functionality, then this is a perfect way to do it. Now the one downside to WooCommerce is that it's a little bit harder to use compared to an all on platform There's definitely a bigger learning curve. But with the added customizability of WordPress, it definitely does take a little bit longer to use. And yeah, I have a ton of videos on this channel teaching you exactly how to build a WordPress website. So also make sure to link that down below. But yeah, essentially, the WooCommerce platform is going to work for any type of business. It also has infinite scalability. So if you really want to grow this into a huge operation, you can absolutely do that using WooCommerce. It's also the cheapest option and quite significantly cheaper. And yeah, this is a great option for you that will save you a ton of money. So the next ecommerce store builder we're talking about is Shopify. And Shopify is one of the most popular ecommerce builders out there. And that's because it'so good for selling physical products. Most of the big physical product brands out there are using Shopify. And essentially what it is, is it's a dedicated ecommerce platform that's built for businesses of all sizes. And you can handle all your inventory and shipping directly on the platform. With Shopify, you're not going to need separate hosting. It's all in one. And so of course, that comes at a cost. It is a bit more expensive, but they do have multiple plans for every type of business owner out there. I have a link down below that gets you a three free day trial. And you also only pay $1 for the next 30 days after that. Yeah, guys, Shopify, it is the go to platform that almost everyone uses if they want to build a big physical product business. It's made specifically for ecommerce. So they're basically going to handle all the product management, shipping payments, marketing tools, they're all in one spot. One thing I also love is that the setup is extremely fast. It's definitely a bit less complicated than using something And they have a ton of pre designed templates for you to use. Yeah, with Shopify, you should be able to actually build your website and have it ready within just a couple hours. They also have features And overall, I'd say that is such a great platform. It's very easy to use. I built multiple stores using Shopify, the drag and drop editor is so easy to learn, and their customer support is also fantastic. Just And those can really enhance your store. In terms of scalability, Shopify is great. You can absolutely use Shopify to run a multi seven, eight figure business. So overall, I'd say that Shopify is a great platform for someone that is okay spending a little bit more money. Someone that wants an all one platform that's a bit easier to manage, because that's where this platform is going to shine. There's a reason why so many people use Shopify. Okay, the next ecommerce builder that we're talking about is Squarespace. I've been using Squarespace for well over a decade. And it's a really good choice for someone that's looking for an all in one platform that allows them to build a very professional looking website. Personally, for me, I think Squarespace is best for services. That's what I use it for. Yeah, we'll talk a little bit more about that later. So essentially, Squarespace is a builder that's known for their really beautiful design templates. And if you have a portfolio or a service, then Squarespace is going to be one of your best options. So let's first talk about the strengths. So immediately, if you sign up for a Squarespace trial, which you guys can actually get with the link down below, you'll immediately be They have over 100 customizable templates that are perfect for photographers, designers, service providers, whatever it is. I use Squarespace for many years for my photography website. And I think the beautiful design was one reason why I got booked a lot. Yeah, for ecommerce, Squarespace is really good at selling different services, having subscriptions, digital downloads, as well as more advanced features It is also a great option if you want to sell physical products, but more people tend to go with Shopify. And so it's a really good choice for someone that wants a clean, easy to use platform. You can also sell memberships using Squarespace, which is really cool. And yeah, in terms of the website builder itself, it's essentially drag and drop. You don't need to know any coding at all. And Squarespace also has really fantastic blogging functionality. So if you are looking to create a blog alongside your ecommerce store, then this can be a great fit. So in terms of pricing, it definitely is more expensive than getting your own hosting and using WooCommerce. But if you think about it, it's actually not bad at all. You want to get the business plan, which starts at $23 per month. That's the price if you're billed annually. And the reason why you want this plan is because it comes with that ecommerce functionality. However, there is a 3% transaction fee on all online store purchases. So if you don't want that, you'll want to get one of the two commerce plans. Squarespace also comes with a free domain and SSL, and they have pretty good SEO tools, although I'd say it's not as good as using WordPress and WooCommerce. Okay, the next ecommerce builder option we're talking about is the hostinger website builder. Now I know I already talked about hostinger, but that was for the WordPress functionality. But they also have a dedicated website builder that allows you to build an ecommerce website. This is by far the best option for anyone that wants to build a website super quickly using AI while wanting to sell products. So if you don't know too much about the hostinger website builder, it's basically a drag and drop builder that is super simple, super affordable, just a few dollars per month. And it's really ideal for beginners and small business owners. For people that don't want to learn anything, we want to be able to click a few buttons and have an ecommerce website. This is probably going to be one of the best options for you. You can sort of view this as an all in one platform to mean you just get one hosting your plan, you don't need to deal with WordPress and all the website and ecommerce functionality is all in one place. It's also going to come with that free domain. And yeah, guys, I've made so many websites, but hosting a website builder is by far the fastest way to do it. Now in terms of the ecommerce functionality, it's definitely not as strong as Shopify. And so I'd say that if you're trying to build a huge ecommerce business that sells tons and tons of products, this is not going to be the option for you. This is going to be a great option for someone that wants to sell maybe five to 10 products maxim And yeah, just They actually look incredibly good. And so you don't need any design experience. All you need to do is use the drag and drop editor to customize your website. If you're looking for a platform with infinite scalability, then this is not going to be the right choice. But with it being so affordable and so easy to use, I'd say this is a great starting point for almost everyone watching this video. I have a link down below. All right, so the next option we're talking about is going to be Wix. Wix is a fantastic option for someone that also wants an all-in-one platform and is mostly selling digital products. Now with their e-commerce functionality, yes, of course, you can sell physical products. But I'd say that this is going to be a more fitting platform for digital products for a variety of reasons. It has drag and drop functionality, meaning you don't need any coding experience. And they also have a ton of professionally designed templates. I also So if you decide later on that you want to, instead of having an e-commerce site, have a blog or a portfolio or anything else As far as use case, I'd say that most people that use Wix are using them for digital products. So this can be things Now one thing unique about Wix is that they actually have a free forever plan. This is a plan that costs literally $0. But for many reasons, I definitely don't recommend this. You can't use a custom domain, you get the Wix branding, and it just does not have many features at all. However, if you look at the paid plans, you can see they have the light, the core, the business, and the business elite plans. Pricing ranges from $17 to $159 per month. So it can definitely be quite affordable. Now I'd say that if you are looking for basic e-commerce functionality, the core plan at $29 per month is a great option. There are also tons of cool marketing tools that come with Wix. For example, email marketing, social media integration, as well as SEO tools. You also get things Overrides say that Wix is a great option for creators that want to sell digital products who want an easy all in one platform, but are willing to spend a little bit more money. Each of these, of course, has their pros and cons, but hopefully one of them stood out based on the functionality or pricing. And hopefully this video helps you choose which one is right for you.
