Hi, I'm John at the new Randy Kielhahn to service department with every service that we complete we do a free 22-point inspection here It is when you first check in we will do a walk around on the vehicle check its overall condition appearance We're gonna be looking for any kind of You do not have to replace the whole wiper We're gonna be measuring the tread depth of the tires and looking at the wear pattern We do have a tread depth gauge that measures tread depth and we will measure that across the tire inside middle and out When we get into the vehicle we're gonna test the horn just to make sure it works We're gonna be looking at any lights or indicators on the dash that may need addressed If you are here for maintenance, we will reset your maintenance light We're gonna be resetting the tire pressures to the appropriate Pressures as outlined on the door sticker here Under the hood we're gonna be checking for quite a few things the main thing could be fluids Filters and leaks there are a lot of fluids under the hood first one being the washer fluid We fill that for you every time Full tank of that for the windshield for you charge We'll be looking at the radiator checking the coolant level and condition again with the color We'll also be testing that to see what temperature that's rated for We'll be checking the transmission fluid and the engine oil We're gonna be looking both for leaks and fluid level We're gonna be looking at the brake fluid looking at its level looking at its condition as your brakes wear The fluid level does decrease to take up the space that the pads used to take up if you have low brake fluid Sometimes that does indicate your do-for-brake service. We're gonna be testing the battery. This is the Honda ED3 battery tester We'll be checking the engine air filter Here's where it is and we'll be looking for any kind of dirt debris oil soaked perhaps at the end of its life Underneath starting at the front We're gonna look at the we're gonna remove the splash shield To get good view of the engine in the front b We're gonna look at the radiator We're gonna look at the engine We're gonna look at the transmission for leaks fluids of any kind anything that looks out of place We're gonna look at the front suspension the suspension bushings the sway bar links the shocks if they're leaking any fluid We're gonna check out the tires. We're gonna check out the brakes We're gonna go along the rear of the vehicle again checking to make sure all the plastics are where they should be There's any exhaust that looks out of place any holders that look out of place We're gonna go back to the rear suspension Same deal look over the sway bar links Suspension bushings see if the shocks are leaking measure the brakes in both the rear and the tires as well
