Audi Flatirons

My name is Spencer, I'm here with Audi Flatirons and today we're going to take a quick look at this 2018 Audi A4. This is a premi So let's go ahead and start in the front and we'll do a quick walk around of the vehicle. Now the 2018 model is going to be updated so it's going to also offer our newest engine here. It's a 2. 0-liter 4-cylinder, it's going to be a turbocharged engine producing 252 horsepower and 273 foot-pounds of torque. I think it's a pretty neat looking engine as well. So part of the premi So the entire housing is going to be full of LEDs, you're going to have an LED daytime running light, an LED projector beam, high beams as well as fog lamps. You're coming into a corner, you know if you're turning left the left side will ill Basically just projects down, out and wide. Now part of the Audi advanced key, it's a full wireless system so the trunk will actually just open up with a kick of a foot. And it reveals a very wide and deep trunk, lots of space for luggage, right now the floor mats are back there. But good storage throughout, there's a little bit of space underneath where the spare tire goes as well. Now you notice on the rear of this vehicle it also has the little black spoiler there, it's just a little lip, part of the black optic package. You can also see the fascia down below here on the b Now one of my favorite parts about the new A4 is actually the sequential turn signal so when I go to unlock it, you'll notice you can actually see the light So again a part of that kind of wireless key, the advanced key from Audi, if I just grab the handle here it'll unlock the vehicle. We'll take a seat inside. It's a very comfortable place to be, I'm just under six foot tall and I still have lots of You can see that it's a black leather interior with the red leather stitched there as well. Nice center console with cup holders and storage as well as climate controls for the rear occupants. Alright now let's take a look at the front here. This A4 actually has the sport seats so there's a little bit more bolstering throughout both the sides as well as down by your thighs with a thigh extender. Good leg room once again, the pedals are going to have that al A little bit more sporty. Come across the dash you can see the flat bottom steering wheel, it is perforated and if I go ahead and turn on the power here you can see the virtual cockpit which is new to the A4 this year. Now what I really You can pull up navigation, your bluetooth telephone, Now if I press the view button here it'll actually bring the gauges up a little bit bigger or hide them away so they're a little bit smaller. But a very crisp, good looking, bright display. Coming inside the 2018 A4 you'll notice it's a very pleasant place to be. Dashboards all updated for 2018. Now you can see that the screen here is going to be stationary. The trim is very nice looking, it's going to be finished in a piano black. The air vents go all the way across, dual zone climate here it's all digital. Of course three stage heated seats for both driver and passenger. Now down below you'll see something that's a little bit more standard on these A4s now, it's going to be the drive select controls. So if I go through the drive select there's an automatic mode, a comfort mode, a dynamic and an individual mode. This kind of contours the car to each driver it'll help select which mood that you're feeling if you need something a little bit more sporty or quick if you're on the freeway or if you just need an everyday auto or comfort mode. It's a little bit more defined for each driver which I think is a very awesome on Audi's part. Now coming back into the menu this is also the updated MMI system so it's very easy to use all the controls are down below here it's very simple. There's just a scroll wheel, two drawer buttons on the left and the right here and then a couple shortcut keys which I think makes everything very easy Up top there you have your presets which is very simple and as you can see there's cupholders up front here they are ill Stop start buttons down below as well it's very easy just a simple press. And if we come back here you can see the new yacht shifter from Audi which is a very good looking shifter it is perforated as well so it's just Very simple to use pull down for drive all the way up for reverse and then you tap this button here on the col Good storage here in the center console there will be a couple USB ports this is actually updated for 2018 so you can plug in direct if you have an iPhone or android. This vehicle also offers Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. An auxiliary port as well as just a nice Now some of the standard safety features on the Audi A4 include the Audi Pre-Sense Basic which is a preventative occupant protection as well as an Audi Pre-Sense City and that will be a low speed collision assist. And another thing that'standard is going to be the rear camera there. This one's also optioned with the parking sensors as well which you can see or demonstrated up on the right side of the screen there. Now as you turn the wheel the lines will actually move as well and that just helps you back into a spot a little bit easier and see what's behind you. Now another really neat feature that this vehicle offers is the Audi Side Assist. So as you can see it's just ill Now take the 2018 Audi A4 for a quick spin here. It's a very easy car to drive. It's a good seating position. This is one of my favorite cars that Audi has to offer right now. Between the driving experience it's just very simple and easy but when you want to be a little more playful and have a little bit more power it also has that as well. As far as the size goes it sits right between the A3 which is going to be our smallest more entry level vehicle and the A6 which is a little bit bigger kind of a mid-size vehicle so this combines both of those and I think it's just a really nice size. Don't have to worry about leg room or head room. It's perfect for five occupants throughout if you want to go on a longer trip. There's options for storage on top of the vehicle so you can put ski racks if you want to go skiing bike racks, storage boxes. We also offer those through the dealership so everything will be fitted directly to the vehicle specifications as well. So we'll put in dynamic and give it a little bit of gas here. Good pickup as you can see the shifts are very quick. It's a really good amount of power from a turbo four. Another neat feature is the paddle shifters here on the steering wheel so you can actually shift the gears yourself or if you put the yacht shifter here over to the right you can downshift, upshift.
