What began as an idle thought in 1988 by Larry Brown has grown into a family business of three generations. Mr. Brown built the business (literally) with his bare hands and even through his passing on April 19th, 2013, his work carries on with his daughter and grandson now running it part time during hunting season. We strive to provide our customers with clean, properly cut meat that is aged under the right temperatures and conditions which give it a better flavor and texture. We are the only deer processor in Middle Tennessee to "age" deer before cutting them. We offer custom processing and also offer traditional smoking of deer and pork sausage. Ms. Brown developed her own signature recipe for our sausage seasonings nearly 30 years ago and it hasn't changed one bit. We do not sell packaged meat for retail or resell. We process your animal or sell you an animal (or share of an animal) live on the hoof and process it for you. It remains a pleasure to serve the people of our community.
