It takes dedication and teamwork to keep any organization running smoothly. Supply airmen at Eglin's 96 Logistics Readiness Squadron have both. They'responsible for managing, receiving and distributing parts and equipment needed to keep the F-35 Lightning II in the air. T A crew of about 31 military members work together to meet the supply needs of civilian, Navy and Air Force personnel wit Typical day here, it varies. Sometimes we have some slow days depending on the needs of the jets, but it can get pretty busy. Some jets get down, we need to get them some parts fast. It's a little bit of pressure, but it's a good kind of pressure. It makes you want to do a good job, it makes you not want to mess up and gives you that kind of sense of pride working with these amazing people and these amazing programs and these awesome jets. T I've been in 22 years, I've always worked all the other aircraft, F-15, A-10, C-130. So it's a good experience for me as well as for all the other up and coming young supply troops to learn about t So it's good that we're starting it now at the beginning so we will have some veterans by the time the aircraft is ready to go. The Air Force's F-35 program is expected to reach initial operational capability in late 2016. Reporting from Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, I'm Air Force Sergeant Terrell Walker.
