We're going to be finding out how she got into weddings, what she Alright, so how did you get into weddings? So my best friend was having her first baby and I threw the baby shower for her and I went to go get the invitations for that. And somewhere in that process I realized that I wanted to open a bridal store. I got in the car and told my boyfriend at the time that were in the wrong business and he asked me what business we needed to be in and I told him I wanted to open a bridal store. And went and drew it out on napkins and opened six months later and we just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and we got married a year and a half after we opened the business. So that's how that happened. So what do you enjoy most about working with brides? I enjoy getting to know them during the appointment. I enjoy getting to ask them the questions of what do you do and what does he do and how did you meet and Well if you had one thing that you could tell our brides that would help make planning their wedding a little bit easier. What would that be? I would tell them to keep an open mind because they will go on Pinterest and they will get this idea of what they want to wear for their wedding and sometimes what you think you want to wear and what you really truly should wear or what your inner bridal self wants to wear is two completely different things. You would never see me as a ball gown girl ever not in a million years and that is what I want to wear because I love big dresses so you have to make sure that you leave yourself open and free enough to discover who your bridal self is and truly find the gown that you're meant to wear. The craziest request I've ever had or at least the one that comes to mind is one time we had a bride's mother who said that it was tradition for her to try on a dress as well and that she would not allow her daughter to buy a wedding gown from us if she wasn't allowed to put on a dress and let them take pictures at the same time. So we accommodated the request and helped start the tradition and I hope that it continues for their family and is a great memory for them but that was a new one on me. Okay then.
