As a full service, all of our consultations are by appointment only. Brides are scheduled for an entire hour to work one-on-one with our knowledgeable team helping to find the perfect gown, that not only makes you feel beautiful but fits any other criteria that you may have. We also cater to Bridesmaids, Flower girls and Tuxedo Rental.
My name is Ron Yuccasen, owner of Eva's Brattle of Oakland. The store was started in 1964 by my grandmother Eva. After she passed, she gave the store to my mother, and my mother just recently gave it to me. Eva's Brattle of Oakland is set apart for a couple different reasons. N We've been able to foster relationships with designers that most stores, or a lot of stores I should say, don't have, not to mention the amount of designers that we have in the store and the amount of inventory. We have over 2,000 wedding gowns from about 40 different designers from all over the world. We actually go on three different buying trips throughout the year, Europe, the US, and then to Dubai to do our buying for everything from wedding gowns to bridesmaids to accessories, and now recently to mother of the bride dresses. So when you walk into our store, it's not just you have a lot of selection to choose from, you also have expertise, and then also keeping within budget. We have a lot of in-store events scheduled throughout the year, usually two or three dozen. These in-store events consist of designer appearances where you get to work directly with the designer on not just having him choose your gown for you, but sketch you in your gown and even customize it for you, as well as gowns that are only available in our store for a particular time period. Gowns are not available anywhere else in the country. We're very excited to have our designers trust us with their newest collections right off the runway.
