Beauty by Design was created to offer an alternative to mainstream, mass produced wedding dress attire. We believe handmade products have a life and element of beauty that can clearly be felt by the wearer. It is important for us to provide clothing made from materials manufactured by people earning a fair wage in a safe work environment. We also believe in connecting with the community and offering local designers an outlet to sell their work. We recognize the world is moving toward sustainable methods and see the need for it in the bridal industry. Our products are handmade from quality, natural fabrics including some garments made from organic, and fair trade materials for our eco-conscious consumers. Beauty by Design also offers full-service alterations with no limit on creativity allowing our customers to receive a garment tailored exactly to their specifications.
Working on so many different project types, it's nice to have a lot of options from really simple to being very abstract. We love having the samples in our library because there's almost always something for what we need. You can pick apart colors from the actual stone that kind of work well with the rest of the palette. So if there's little sparkle things, you can do metal accents here and there and it just kind of connects the dots. I love movement and seeing different types of line work. I love the classic marble. I tend to leave course the whites and the grays. I just got to do a donut shop where I use a white hall which is pretty much a pure white. I'm doing a bar where I'm using one more marble So the range of designs and patterns is such that there's just about anything there and it really is one of the products that us hospitality designers today are really looking to use.
