My wife and I, Suki, and we have a bridal shop, formal wear for men, all types of dresses for the women, the accessories for the bride, we cater to all of that. You get two for the price of one. So now why are your services for your alterations on site? Yes. We find that it's a lot easier for the brides to have our alteration services on site. So we do everything in-house. When a bride comes to buy her wedding gown, a lot of times she won't know what the alterations will cost. And for a store that doesn't offer alterations on site, they can't really tell her before she buys the gown how much she's going to spend. We're a little bit different in that since we do have our alterations team right there in the store, before a bride even purchases her gown, we can give her an estimate, let her know what her alterations will be so that there's no surprises for her when she decides which gown is the right one for her. Now you have both all sorts of types of dresses, weddings also whether you're doing a prom, whether you're going to maybe go into a cocktail, mother of the bride, but you also have menswear too. Sure. There's two major points that we want to let the brides know about when they're buying their wedding gown. The first is give yourself enough time and do your research. It's a process when you're buying a wedding gown. So do a little bit of research before you go shopping, look at pictures online, find out the styles, the colors that you The next step that I would recommend is your entourage. And what I mean by that is the group that you bring with you. Now we all know that bridal shopping is special. We want to bring grandmas and moms and aunts and friends and cousins, but sometimes too many people there can make it more difficult for the bride. So we recommend bringing some closest friends or relatives because when the bride finds her dress, then she feels obligated to please everybody else. And sometimes that makes it very difficult for her. Now when you do these alterations and when you are working with the bride, do you think that they should call in and do an appointment with you? How does it work? Yes. We recommend our bridal gown shoppers to do appointments. They can do that on our website or they can give us a call and do that. We can do that over the phone. We booked them for a one hour consultation. One of our staff will be with them, walk them through the process, help them try on gowns and then go over any alterations that they may need. And that way they just know their full price up front before they make any purchase. Now with the bridal gowns, do you have any special names that you might want to tell them what you have in there so that they can say all These weddings have become mega weddings now. Right. Some of our designers that we have, we carry allure and monchurie. We've also got our private label that we have. And we carry everything from gowns that have the big long cathedral trains to the mermaid styles which are the fitted gowns and to the very simplistic which are perfect for the beach or the destination weddings. There's enough stress going on with weddings So when the bride comes in, she'll find her dress and then we can go over any of the alterations that it would need right there on site before she even makes her purchase. Or if she's bought her dress somewhere else, she can come in for a free consultation and we can let her know what we would charge her for alterations. And I think that it's great that they do it on site. Because one thing that I remember when I had mine made for me, that the back, it was a deep V back. And it was supposed to be a deep V back and it wasn't. And it was too late and I couldn't do anything about it. So I love that you do that all in-house right there with them.
