Matching the bride with her perfect dress one stitch at a time!
My name is Andrea Pitter Campbell and I am the owner and designer at Pantor Abrido. I opened Pantor Abrido seven years ago. I opened it because I didn't see any women that looked And I really wanted to show women who looked Pantor Abrido is a celebratory space. I wanted to celebrate body types. I wanted to celebrate celebration. I wanted to celebrate love, black love. Being on the cover of the knot is super exciting. I think that just as a black woman in the wedding industry that oftentimes there'so many barriers and there'so many doors locked to that getting an invitation in itself is so helpful and so useful. Black women really inspire me. I don't know how many reallys I can add. They've proven to constantly be the backbone of so much and have so much strength and we shouldn't have to and have fixed problems that we didn't create. So black women have constantly been a source of inspiration for me. There'so many things that the industry doesn'think and the reason that it doesn'think the way it should is because it has never had to. And now we're holding people accountable. Find out your why and check back in on it. Make sure that you're doing the thing that you want to do with purpose and don't forget what that why is. I'm really excited about where we're going. I'm excited about everything that we've done and all the people who have pushed this along the way. Our Pantor Bride Tribe is literally the best support system. They are bride or die.
