Serving breakfast and lunch seven days a week, the Wildflower Cafe is your best bet for breakfast and lunch in the Evergreen area. We offer a wide variety of classic breakfast dishes as well as some of our local favorites. The Wildflower is owned and operated by the husband and wife team of Colin and Britta Kerr with chef Nate Heartman. Together they have over forty years of experience in the restaurant industry and will continue to offer high quality food at reasonable prices with excellent service.
So we already had the idea for the business pretty much complete before the name came and when I came to see this site it was really in a terrible state and it would require a lot of work and my favourite plants are always ones that are real fighters and can survive in like really damaged or poor quality soils which is the perfect environment for wild flowers so I thought It's very selective and organic and wild and untampered with and so it's just a really easy way for us to kind of give people our overall philosophy in a visual way. The customers love it, the customers love coming and see how things have changed, what we've got in now, seeing the creativity of how things are put together, the containers that they're in and I think they're often very inspired to what to take back to their own homes and how they can kind of take a little piece of art design back with them. I love the idea that people that walk past us every day just are a little bit happier having just gone past everything that we put outside.
