Charlie's Cafe

Hi, my name is Ted Warren. Welcome to Charlie's Cafe. Charlie's Cafe is located in Norfolk, Virginia and we're leading the grease route charge to Keywood in Norfolk, Virginia. We're located in Ghent and Ghent is a very eclectic, it's located near their college of Old Dominion University. So we get a lot of ODU people, we get a lot of working-class folks, we get a lot of businessmen from downtown, men and women. Charlie's Cafe started out about 35 years ago, whenever we began to revitalize this part of Norfolk. It's a great place to come on the weekends, we're always full, there's usually a line at the door. We get you in and out in about 20 minutes. We try to buy everything local and that's a really big part. We shop local and that's a really big movement and today is to support your local businesses.
