Ryda Bikes

Ezra bikes only makes bikes for kids. We specialize in making high quality kids bikes with tires that can't go flat all for a good price.

Our love of biking runs deep and there’s nothing we love more than seeing that passion ignite in our children. Undoubtedly you, like us, have realized that kid’s bikes have been greatly overlooked by the bike industry. Frustrated by the poor quality of department store bikes or overpriced bike shop options, we felt there had to be a more AFFORDABLE solution that didn’t neglect QUALITY. With nearly two decades of combined experience in the bike industry, along with experience in international trade, we knew we had to do something. We set out to develop a bike that freed parents from headaches without breaking the piggy bank. Our inspiration to build something better started with all of our kids but became particularly meaningful when one of our founder’s son tragically passed away. Little Ezra had an inborn love of riding and entered his first bike race at the age of one. He enjoyed riding with his family and it is one of their treasured memories. To honor Ezra and his passion for the sport we proudly put his name on every bike we sell. Our hope is that kids everywhere can enjoy the freedom, exhilaration and pure pleasure that comes from riding a bike.

Hi there, congratulations on receiving your new bike. I'm going to show you just how quick and simple it is to put this bike together. When you receive a bike, it will come with your bike assembly, an accessory box, and a manual, everything you need to get your bike on the road. Included in your accessory box, you'll find your seat and seat post, your pedals, possibly a fender, your handlebars, your reflectors, and a toolkit. First thing we're going to do is go ahead and remove all of the packaging and wrapping. The first step is we're going to attach the front wheel. We want to align the treads of the front wheel without the back wheel, so they're both going the same direction. On the tire, you'll see a tread direction. This has a curve going this way. Back tire is going the same direction, so we know that's the right way. We want to make sure that we're putting the wheel on so that the fork is facing forward and not backward. The fork should have a forward curve to it. Next, we're going to loosen up the nuts on the wheel to make room for the fork. There are washers with little hooks on them next to the nut, and we want to move those to the outside. And then we can put the fork onto the wheel. These grooves in the fork should rest right on top of the axle. We're going to take the little hooks that are on these washers and stick them into the hole that is on that fork, and then we can proceed to tighten that screw. Repeat on the other side and evenly tighten the nuts on each side. You can use this tool to tighten it up. And now we'ready to put the kickstand down. Okay, now we're going to put on the handlebars. All we have to do is put the handlebar down into the stem and tighten the bolt that's on top. As we begin to tighten the screw, you want to align the handlebars with the front wheel to make sure everything'straight before you tighten it up too much. We're going to use this multi-tool to tighten it up. Now we'ready to put on the bike seat. Grab our seat and our Allen wrench. Slide it down in and tighten it up. We're almost there. Let's do the pedals. Your pedals will be labeled with a right and left sticker, and the bike arms are also labeled with a right and left sticker, so you just match them up and screw them in. When you've done as much as you can by hand, it's time to use that tool again to tighten up the rest of the way. Almost done. Finally, we're going to put on the optional front fender and the reflectors. To put this on, we want to remove the nut and the washer, slide it on, and screw them back on. Okay, now let's do the reflectors. The white one goes on the front, the red one goes on the back. Simply unscrew it, snap it around the post, and screw it back in. Your bike is ready to go. There may be some small adjustments or tuning needed to make it perfect. We'll show you how to tune your Ezra bike in follow-up maintenance videos.
