Yesteryear Cyclery was established in New Bedford in 1919 and is the largest full service cycling facility in the greater southcoast area. The strore has been contiunously famiy run for 90 years and is presently overseen by its president Kim Camara.
This is a Fixie. The Fixie bicycle got its innovation around 1986, when Kevin Bacon was in a movie called Quick Silver. It was about American messenger boys in New York City that ran stuff back and forth. Then recently a new movie came out called Premi And what this bike basically is, is the rear wheel connected to the pedals directly. One speed, one brake, if necessary. Some kids don't even use the brake. They're going to arrange your price at a very high price from $300 to about $1,000. But the beautiful thing about this bike is you just get on it and you go. We feature brands from Originate, Schwinn, Mazdi, Cannondale, and Raleigh. Some of them are ultra light, but the beautiful thing about this bike is they're pretty much maintenance free.
