Hi, my name is Carol Vales and we're here at Las Vegas Cyclery which is 8221 West Charleston in Las Vegas, Nevada and we're located in between Durango and Buffalo right on Charleston. Tell us what the store specializes in a lot of things doesn't it? We do. We actually pretty much run the gamut of mountain biking and road. We have triathlon bikes, we have a lot of mountain bikers here and road so we do all three. What do you do? I'm a road rider, been road riding for about 26 years, raced for many years, now happy in retirement and just a rider here in town. Well you have actually something really special at this store don't you about how your boss treats everybody? Right, we have a program where when we ride to work we get paid extra and we also have a challenge going on right now. We keep track of our mileage and then we put all of our mileage into a pot and we convert that to how much carbon each one of us is saving and after six months we're going to kind of convert the carbon saved into dollars and we're going to be giving that to a local charity and then each one of us whoever saves the most carbon we get an extra incentive ourselves. That's really sweet. Tell us a little bit about the products that you carry here. We are a specialized dealer, we're one of the largest specialized dealers in the US and we carry a full line of specialized from their mountain bikes on up to their S-worth road bikes as well. And tell us a little bit about the riding that goes on in the Las Vegas area. Well we have a lot of riding here and contrary to a lot of people think in Las Vegas we have a lot of bike lanes. We do rides up to Red Rock to the Red Rock Loop to Blue Diamond. We have Hill Climb Challenge at the end of the year around September, Mount Charleston. There's lots of road riding here and lots of touring going on. Do you do fitting and repair? Yes we have something unique to Las Vegas area it's called body scan. That's our bike fitting that we do here and we do every kind of bike repair that you can imagine and we have expert mechanics.
