Welcome to Petrie Bikes. My name is Elizabeth. We have Al and Melanie here today. This week's video is going to be all about bike fitting, and the three of us here are bike fit specialists. And today we're going to talk about our precision fit bike system and what all that entails. I just want to ask you how long have you been performing bike fit? I've been fitting bikes for approximately 34 years. And in that time, bike fitting has changed tremendously. When I first started fitting, were using a system called the Fit Kit. And the Fit Kit was basically a stick and a tape measure and a pl And you would take body part measurements, look up what those n This is the crank arm link that you need. And things have changed so much since then. Now we have the TREP precision fit system. And that comes with a custom fit cycle, software, computer, cameras, all kinds of things that make bike fitting so much more advanced than it ever was in the past. The Fit Kit, then, it sounds But, I mean, can you say a little bit more about that? Well, we still take measurements of body parts, And the difference is now we're allowing technology to dictate what we do, rather than just taking static measurements of a person's body, looking at a chart based on Greg LeMond and saying, oh, this is what fits you. Things are so much different now. Okay. Okay. So, Melanie, you've been fitting for about two years now.
