For 2024 Harley Davidson has three different trike options for riders looking for classic Harley Davidson muscle and styling on a three wheeled platform. The bike we're talking about today is this, the 2024 Harley Davidson freewheeler, the most stripped down of the three. This black dial beauty demands attention with its aggressive styling and performance. It'still trike but very stripped down and very cruiser. From the seat forward you could mistake this bike for a road king save for the slightly shorter front fender and lack of extra headlight trim. For a rider that loves a road king they'll As the road king is the stripped down of the touring bikes the freewheeler is the most simple of the trike model. Continuing to look at the styling on this bike in the rear you have very familiar looking bobtail fenders with the trunk offering plenty of luggage rim. For 2024 the Harley Davidson freewheeler is only available in the black trim but it is available in three different color ways. You have the base billiard gray, a two turn alpine green and vivid black and then of course this the vivid black. So now let's talk specs. In running order this bike sits at 1131 pounds and has a 26. 2 inch laden seat height. But both these factors you really won't have to consider as much considering this bike is equipped with reverse and there's really not a time you'll ever have to put your feet down. Then there's the six gallon tank, a 114 Milwaukee A motor producing 119 foot pounds of torque at an estimated 43 miles per gallon. Now rider safety enhancements include ABS, electronic linked braking, traction control, drag torque slip control and their respective cornering enhanced versions all of which are standard equipment on the 24 freewheeler. Diving into the features on this bike you have excellent stopping power thanks to the dual rotors on the front wheel and a rotor on each rear wheel and all of these wheels are a very sleek cast al Now the front forks get a little extra trim to clean up the appearance around these more traditional lights. You've got an old school halogen headlight and incandescent turn signals paired with the rear incandescent lighting. Moving up are the Mini A bars hosting the hand controls including a few favorites Again, very similar styling to the road king with the center console and analog fuel gauge for that six gallon tank feeding the 114 Milwaukee A motor. From here is the 6 speed transmission and traditional 2 to 1 to 2 touring exhaust setup. This bike is set up for a passenger with a passenger seat and many floorboards but if you want a tour pack you're going to have to go with the tri glide ultram as this bike'side opening trunk only allows a luggage rack and backrest. Now the trunk is the only place to store any gear on this bike without adding any other features but it is lockable and it has two cubic feet of storage. From our perspective the 24 road king special offers a combined storage of 2. 5 cubic feet between the two stretched bags. Now when you start to add luggage and a passenger you'll probably want to adjust the rear suspension which is easy to accomplish thanks to the hand adjustable emulsion rear suspension.
