Welcome to another episode of Go To Gilbert. I'm Rob Hundley with Asher Kym Real Estate, your Go To Gilbert guy. I'm at Freeride Bike Company today with Brian and Deborah and we're going to learn a little bit more about this amazing, fantastic Freeride bike company. Where are you all from? I was actually born and raised in Mesa when I moved to Gilbert when I was about eight, so I'm a native. True native. That's rare these guys. I grew up not far from the corner. We owned property and raised cattle and horses and palm trees and pine trees, so this is my home. Wow, I'm in all the houses. I know it was all past your end of the day. How about you? Born and tempi, raised in tempi, Arizona native and now live in Jemma. Awesome, awesome. Tell us about this Freeride bike company. I got to tell you, I have been here for a while because it has been so incredibly busy, but the cool thing about it is everybody in here has a smile on their face, no matter what. So tell me about this place. It's fantastic. Well, one thing we kind of pride ourselves on is the small shop experience, and so when they come in and you're choosing to buy something from us because you have choices all over the valley, we want to make it a personal experience and make you feel It's about the relationship rather than just the transaction. It is, yeah, from start to finish, even after the purchase, when you have questions, something's going on with your bike, or you want to add accessories to your bike, we want that personal relationship to continue, and once you make a purchase, or even if you don't make a purchase, you just come in to browse the accessories and bikes, we want you to feel part of the Freeride family. Awesome, awesome. Tell me a little bit more about that family. Who's the typical client customer that you got? Do you have a typical? We cater to a lot of people, so we just had a former NFL football player in here that was buying bikes for his whole family, clear down to the guy that's passing through town on a bike ride or venturing off to go do something crazy Nice. Not a lot of road bikes, but tons of mountain bikes, kids bikes, beach cruisers, we're very well known for our beach cruiser selection, and they are fantastic, they look great, they look great. Where do you see the future of bikes? Oh, don't we wish we knew. I personally think electric bikes are the way of the future, they're more and more every day we find out about them, they're a blast to ride, they give the average rider or the beginner rider the opportunity to go a lot farther, faster, and feel Yeah, yeah, I had a Schwinn Stingray and yeah, yeah with the banana seat and the handlebars, oh yeah, yeah, and with the pandemic hitting it kind of kicked it off again, and I think, Speaking of being outside, where are some of your favorite trails that you've in Gilbert and in the Valley here? Gilbert, I mean the western trail canal is a good one that runs through downtown Gilbert and goes clear out to, Nice. And they have a girl that's Haasaholics. Yeah, nice. Haas babes right now. Haas babes. We actually have a Christmas box, so we're taking donations for Christmas presents right now. Oh wow, wow, that, I gotta say, that's maybe a good thing to end on too, because you all do so much for the community and it's fantastic, and We'd love to help when we can. Yeah, you are fantastic. That's it for this episode of Go To Gilbert. I'm Rob Hundley with Ashokheim Real Estate, your Go To Gilbert guy.
