Downtown Bicycles

Hi, my name is Derek Nazworthy. I'm the owner of Downtown Bicycles here in Fort Lauderdale, Beach, Florida. We've been in business since 2001. We wanted to carry jamies for a couple reasons. You can get everything from a beach cruiser all the way up to a high-end mountain bike or even road bike. And the margins that they provide tend to be on average about four or five percent higher than any of the other manufacturers were looking at doing business with. Every manufacturer out there is going to make a good bike. And when you have the opportunity to compare it to a jamist, I can always somehow find a way to show the customer where another manufacturer has skimped on a piece on the bike, whether it be a crankset or a brakeset or something's always a little cheaper than what you can find on a jamist. And the jamist typically comes in about 50 bucks or so lower. When a customer first walks in, they ask to tell me more about jamists. And we love this question. N The second thing we love to do is to take a customer out back to ride a bike. They're able to see the quality, feel it. You can tell that the saddle is a nice saddle. You can tell that the bars are nice handlebars. The shifting is great. They're able to really engage with the bike and see that it really is a quality product. My favorite jamist bike would have to be my Zenith SM. It's lightweight. It's responsive. I mean, when you hit the pedals, you feel It's an amazing bike to ride. Great quality, great feel to the ride. And who can forget all-time favorites of lost crews? I mean, you just can't beat that bike. It's the same bike for years and years. And why would you change a good thing? It's been a great quality ride. The value on it is there. You can't beat it. The saddles, the seats, everybody loves that bike. Even though a jamist is a large company, we still They know who you are. They call you by name. You're not a n You're able to really get in touch with the person who's really going to make the difference in your day. All you have to do is pick up the phone and make a call. And they're there. Downtown bicycles wouldn't be here without jamists. They give us the opportunity to do what we love to do every day and to be profitable with what we do. My name is Derek Nazworthy and I speak jamist.
