Hi there, welcome to Nothing in Biteworks. My name's Ian, I'm one of the mechanics that works here. We're a local non-for-profit organisation. We do all normal bike repairs and servicing to find any local independent bike shop. The difference for those is we use the income we generate to support our community work rather than for profit. So we deliver schemes such as projects with refugees, local children in non-mainstream schools, as well as doing projects We're here today to talk about the Trouble World project, which is a social prescribing active travel project working with Nottingham City Council and the local NHS. I'm in Biteworks in commission to deliver the Build a Bike project and the local doctor bikes to accompany the wider project as a whole.
