Whenever I get on a bike, I smile. It doesn't matter what bike it is. I love it and I see a lot of people do that when they come in here and they go to test ride a bike or they bring their bike in and ride on the p They're smiling, they're having a good time and they're welcoming the shop. We don't want the shop to be intimidating with the mechanics You can sit and hang out with the mechanic and ask, We want people to be comfortable around biking. There's no huge mystery be It doesn't need to be scary. The idea actually stems from going to community centers in town and working on kids' bikes and then grew into the truck. Working with the truck and doing mobile service meant we could go into lots of neighborhoods in Memp As business grew, I needed a place to store bikes and work on bikes and to store the truck. We thought the Binghampton neighborhood would be a great place to open the shop. We wanted to keep service kind of the focus of the shop. W They can sit and watch us learn from us, talk to us. Along that line, we started selling beer so you can ride in and have a cold beer or a cold soda w That kind of developed to where we added the p That's been an awesome community t We get families that meet up here on Saturday and come ride the p Just having people that Memp When we first talked about opening a bike shop, we actually started looking at other cities. Right around that time, Memp Biking started to become a lot more mainstream. Hundreds of miles of bike lanes have been put in. Pretty soon you'll be able to ride from the suburbs, Collierville, Germantown, Cordova all the way to Arkansas and almost never be on the street.
