Apollo's Barbershop

Hi, my name is Garo and I'm the owner of Apollo's Barber Shop. About eight years ago I noticed that a lot of gentlemen were going to different salons and get in their haircuts. We're noticing that a lot of barber shops didn't do these type of high-end cuts. So eight years ago I said, I don't consider my guys barbers, these guys are artists. These guys are very, very talented barbers. We do all kinds of different cuts. So in the last eight years we've had a great success with a lot of people coming in, repeat clientele coming in. I think our service keeps them coming back. We have a bar, they come in and they can buy a cold beer. Some of the other two shops we give them a complimentary beer. So we treat the clients with utmost respect. We're not the typical barber shop that was back in the 20s and 30s. But the look basically is what we're looking for. These guys know what they're doing. Most of the barbers that we have 10, 15, 20 years experience behind them. If you've never had a straight razor shave, come in and try it. You'll always come back. Father comes in, small kids, as the kids grow up, they come to Apollo's. What I see basically a father and son come in after about eight years. The kid was maybe 12, now he's 22, he's getting his haircut. It's a great feeling knowing that they've been really loyal to us for over all these years. We give back to the community. I'm really supportive of the veterans. We give back to different charities in Santa Clarita. We've been doing that for the last eight years. I'm really proud of what's happened. I'm really proud of the success that Apollo's at. It's not Apollo'success, it's the barbers and the clientele that's really, really built Apollo's within the last eight years.
