Straight Razors

Hey, what's going on guys? You're here from Easy Blade. Today we're gonna do the straight razor versus the shea vet. What's the difference? Let's get into it. So let'start off with the straight razor. So the straight razor is nothing but a single blade that's already sharp You can't change the blade on it. It's already its own blade Now the difference between a straight razor and a shea vet with the straight razor You're gonna have to sharpen it almost every two to three shave now another problem with the straight razor You can't use it in a professional environment according to the law now some people do use it in barbershops The law says that it's not sanitary to use the barber law is what I'm talking about the state board They feel like it's not sanitary to use now if you're using the same blade on somebody can transmit diseases over to other people and a Lot of customers don't want to use the same razor as somebody else But they are still barbershops that use that old school shave back in the day It was okay to use it because I guess people didn't know too much about different diseases and different diseases came about and people figured out Well, it's because we're using the same blade on other people and That is not okay not to change the straight razor If you have a barber that is not changing a double-edged razor every time that is not sanitary and can be dangerous Now what's cool about the straight razor if you're using it at home You can use it on your face you get about seven to ten shaves and then the difference with the straight razor is you don't have to Change the blade so you save tons of money there, but it requires a skill You have to learn how to sharpen your blade now to sharpen your blade you're gonna use a tool We do refer to it as a straight razor This is because 99. 9% of the world thinks that this is a straight razor, but it's really cool to shave it now We get tons of comments below with professional shavers or people that wet shave and they always say that's not a straight razor That's a shave that we have to title our videos straight razor because everybody knows the shave that as a straight razor And when you walk into a barber shop, you don't sit in the chair and say hey, can I get a shave that shave? Do You don't walk in a barber shop and say that most of the time when people walk in a barber shop They say hey, can I get a straight razor shave? Can you use the straight razor on my beard? Can you straight razor my face? That's what people mostly say all the time when you walk inside of a barber shop environment
