Cutting at this mission is to be the best possible barber shop that it can be. We want you to leave here feeling the best that you can possibly feel when leaving the shop. I want everybody to feel at home, feel comfortable, just a good family environment. My dad used to cut my hair when I was a kid. I think it was something that I always wanted to do. I didn't realize that I wanted to do it professionally until 13 or 14. I can remember one Sunday my mother made me leave the house and told me don't come back without a haircut. So my buddy who used to cut my hair at the time wasn't in town. And the other guy in the neighborhood that cut hair, I couldn't find him. So I had to go to my buddy's house, go into his room and take his clippers and shave all my hair off. So it took for me after that I cut my cousin's hair. It took probably about two hours for me to do a bowl cut. But after he went to school he said a couple of my buddies wanted to know who cut your hair and asked me to cut their hair. And that's how my process started. I started coming professional when I was 20. I cut in three shots before I over my own. I started out as the method style of barbering. And I changed my name to Cut and Edge probably about six years after that. A barber is professionalism, a hair doctor. Barber is a counselor because we hear everybody's problem whether they're good, whether they're bad, whatever the case may be. We hear, I'm big on kids. I love roaming young men, showing them what it is to be a man. Because a lot of young men don't have that father figure. Sometimes I feel like, So barber is everything. And even with technology, computers taking over everything, the one thing they cannot take over is getting the haircut. We gonna be here forever. Until the end of time, everybody need a barber. I don't care what your race, your nationality is, everybody needs a barber. And everybody loves a barber. And I love it. I'm Damian Faizon, our senior. And this is Cut and Edge Barber Shop. Boom.
