The Wool Exchange

So this is, or was, Bradford's will exchange for more than a century the commercial hub of this once really prosperous city. It is a stunning building. Look at it. Look at that hammer roof, hammer beam roof, and most of it is now a Waterston's bookshop, but it is just s And it's been really nicely done up, refurbished. That statue, by the way, is of Cobbdon, the great Fritay trader, the anti-cornwall campaigner, a middle-class radical. You look at the designs on the stonework around the windows. Absolutely wonderful.
