You've probably heard the jingle, shave in a haircut two bits, well you'll never get anywhere close to that nowadays. Yeah, but there is one place here in town that takes you back to the good old days of the Men's Barber Shop. On tonight's Tennessee Traveler, we take you to the new place in town simply called Frank's Barber Shop. You kind of flexing your muscles, just talking to me, you feel so masculine in this place though. It's back to the future for Men's Haircuts and for Frank Gambuzza, owner of Salon Visage. He's flexing his own muscles by opening a new shop for the modern male, simply called Frank's Barber Shop. My grandfather was also Frank and kind of my life mentor. Came from Italy, nothing, made of the American way kind of thing. Little Frank brought those old school techniques to his newest creation and I was his first customer. This looks Then comes the hot towel soaked in essential oil. And a Mondo shampoo. Why do I have to go to work? And while Frank was cutting my hair, she's going to call it a hand detail. Here you don't call it a hand massage, right? No, we don't call it a Medicare. And while you'relaxing, you can watch ESPN on many screens or play a little pool. In the waiting area are n Then comes time for the real retro feel, a shave with a straight razor. And let me tell you, she was good, not a knicker cut. And I can safely say I have never had this done. I've tried that anywhere. Whatever attaches to that sticky stuff on the end won't be there in a second or two. No modesty here folks. Ah! Oh, come on.
