Traditional Barbershop, Gentlemans Grooming Supply, and Social Club
1940's barbershop complete with black and white checkerboard floor, clean surroundings, with modest decor befitting the 1940's though 60's. We created “Pomade & Tonic” because men have few choices when it comes to grooming. The need for men’s bastions is tangible. Every day an increasing amount of men seek out salons over the neighborhood barbershop. This is not due to a want of a female stylist or salon surroundings. There is a resurgence of manly rituals in the U.S. creating a need for more luxurious shave creams, hair care products, and services and barbers refuse to change with the times by providing these services. Men are looking back to a time of pampering themselves like they did in the 1940’s. Men are becoming gentlemen again.
