Well, speaking of food, it's not just cake, it's dessert. Well, that's the model for one Sylvania bakery, and Aston's Gourmet Creations, located in Saxon Square, and they have a very unique way of adding flavor to your celebration. I'm here with Janine, who is one of the owners. And nice cake. I mean, these aren't your typical cake. I mean, these are Yes, they have mousse layers in between the layers, so it's not just cake and icing. So we do different things here. So you have mousse in between the layers of cake? Yes, we do. We take our cakes and we cut them into layers, so they're thinner layers of cake, and then we put the mousse in between the layers, so it's just wonderful. And of course, they're all low-fat. Oh, we bake the calories right out. So what kind of cakes do you do? Do you do primarily wedding cakes, or do you all sorts of cakes? All sorts of cakes. We do wedding cakes, birthday cakes, graduation cakes, anniversary cakes, you name it. We do cakes for all occasions. We have our specific designs that we do. If you have an idea, you can bring it in and we can see if we can do it. We also have our edible images, where a lot of times if you have a theme birthday party, and it's one of the Disney characters, if we have it in there, then you can just add the edible image to the cake and add the colors around it just for different. . . So you can have whatever you choose. That way you can get the colors incorporated, but yet it's not just basic. And something I saw there is you have box cakes. I mean, it looks It's called their signature gift box design. And everything in our retail store, if it's ready to go, whatever's in there is in that design. So it looks How long have We have been in business for 23 years. We've been in this location for about six years. If I was getting married, and I wanted to come in to get a wedding cake, obviously I see designs here, what would you do for me as far as the process of the consultation? Well, the best thing to do is call ahead and set an appointment. That way you can taste everything, see the pricing, decide what works well, and then if you It doesn't have to be that day, but it's best to come in when you can sit down and go through the whole process.
