Meche's King Cakes

I'm just talking about him now, I realize he's got the timer. The white icing on this end, it'll be cool if a little bit of time it gets to the girls at the other end and then they put the colored icing on it. Oh, okay. It's just purple, green and gold. And so what do you do with the dough first? We start out with the dough, we start out with our black and yeast water and then we have a base and a cloud that goes together. Okay. And we need that for 20 minutes. We let it sit for another 20 minutes in a bowl. We take it out for 20 minutes on the table and another 20 minutes before we're cut. That way it's real good and active. The white is real pretty and not pretty. Okay. We'll roll it out then and then we'll cut it in strips and then we'll braid it. And then we connect the two braids together and make it all. Oh, that's beautiful. Sorry. I'm on your way. That's beautiful. So then you just put it up there. Okay.
