One Punch Man Season 3 just dropped and the fans are super angry. Now it's already well known that the animation of One Punch Man took a serious punch in season 2 compared to season 1 due to the change in anime studios. But fans were at least somewhat hopeful that waiting 6 years for season 3 would make a difference. Well, it didn't. The episode 1 just aired and the fans say it's even worse than they were hoping for. One fan even broke down the entire episode in a timeline and found out that out of 20 minutes, which is how long the episode was, 6 of those minutes were just fully static images. Another person says that even the mooring frames are actually mostly static as it's usually just the camera panning left or right or zooming in and out. One guy even found this. Yes, basically they copy-pasted the characters during the Monster Association meeting. Some comments even go as far as to call it a fan animation and others point out that most of the budget went into female character assets.
