Emile Attar a Lebanese immigrant came to America in 1985 looking for a better life from civil war in his country. Growing up in Europe and the Middle East he would travel to Germany where he would go around the country with car brokers to find potential vehicles that he would repair and resale. He would drive back these cars to his country on the Autobahn, where he got inspiration for our business name (Autobon was the only available business name). In 1985 he came to Portland Oregon with family and traveled to Los Angeles for work at a produce store as a produce manager. Feeling like he could do better, he came back to Portland Oregon to risk it all and start his business Discount Auto Repair. Renting out a 1 hoist garage at a gas station he slowly grew his clientele doing what he loved, fixing cars and helping people out. In 1990 he started Autobon Auto Sales. Now we are at our third location being ran with his two sons Randy Attar and Rony Attar and his Wife Krisha Attar.
