So t Now I'm pres So you already know that t So we're going to j So it's going to be short and sweet. You will need to pause it throughout to really capture the information. And if you're looking to become a window tinter we have a full course from start to finish w So be sure to give this video a th So in t Now the aim is to cut the film bigger than what you can see so we don't want any light gaps. So we have one here, we have half a centimetre overlap on each side and we have half an inch overlap on the bottom. Now for the top we're going to be leaving a very slight gap. It'still an industry standard but it's also the best way to learn. Now the tools we're going to be using we'll put in the description below and with our spray bottle it's just water and we have four drops of soap per one litre. So the biggest problem we're going to have when tinting is dust and contamination so the first t And then we're going to respray the window and lay the film. So very important you need to make sure the backing sheet is facing you or she's going to cut the film back to front. Then we're going to slide the film up so we have half an inch overlap on the bottom and we'll give it a small anchor and we're going to cut a side so really important you need to make sure that you have a stainless steel blade so it doesn't scratch the glass and that your knife blade is only out one click when cutting against the rubbers. So here one click. So we're going to overlap the film by half a centimetre. That's our overlap but we're going to do it again to compensate for the other side that we're about to cut now. Give it another anchor. Again make sure a knife blade is at one click because you don't want to cut the rubbers. So here. And we can move it back over half a centimetre. We're taking it from t Now the reason we're giving it a hard anchor now is because when we wind the window down we don't want the film to move. So we've rounded it down by about one to two inches and we're going to cut t Now really important you need one cut all the way through. We don't want to start in the middle else we're going to get what we call bite marks. So extend the blade four or five clicks. There. We're tear away. So if you find that the top cut didn't go to plan you can so we have our film cut now the only problem is our off cuts in the corners so we're just going to deal with them now so very carefully pull the film off and we're going to use a ruler to straighten off these cuts. Take the point out of the film again here. I'm going to spin the film around and do the same to the other side. So now we have the film cut we're just going to prep it on the door so we are going to be peeling the film off the car. We would always recommend using a peel ball but we understand that's a big investment to start off. So we'll show you just how to do it by peeling off the car. So for t Now t You can use your online tools So give the window a spray then we're going to use our scraper blade to scrape off any of the grime marks that could be in the glass. So here, I'm going to wind the window down, get the top edge, then we use our microfiber cloth to wipe the top edge of the glass and around the edges of the panel. We use our window cleaner, just clean side to side. The next step is going to be to flush all of the dust and contamination down and away. So here, and away. So don't worry about the electrics on the ve I've never had any problems by flus And we'll give the glass a quick mist. Then we're going to peel the backing sheet off our film, spray it with soapy water and begin the install. So we have the film pinched, halfway on each side. Now with front windows the installation is slightly different. We want to get the smallest side in first. So we're going to let then once we can touch t So very important, t It's not touc And we're going to slowly slide the film down. So it's very important to be very patient when you're moving t You don't want to just try and yank it because if it catches, there's a So here, and we'll leave that very slight gap on the top edge. We use our blue max and push all of the water away. You can see I've got my th Now then we use our contour and push all the water down the sides. Wind the window up. Push the remaining water out down here. And again, we're going to contour down the sides and the bottom. So then we're going to clean our film. Then we're going to check the outside for any problems. So we clean the glass and then the frame and the panel. Now what will really separate your tint job from the other ones you see out there is checking over your work. So consider they'll get you on the road to being a window tinter. So we have five main t We have bubbles, fingers and spears, hairs and fibres, specks and contamination and creases. Now we need to make sure that we really check over our work for these problems. There's another long tutorial just to focus on these t So we're not going to cover it in t A very quick tip is you apply heat to the outside of the glass and then push it back in from the inside. So that concludes a short YouTube tutorial on how to tint windows. So if you enjoyed the video please give it a th We'll be uploading more mini YouTube tutorials if we have the demand. Now t It was very hard to compile all that information into such a short video for you w And our course also we offer a 30 day money back guarantee. So with that confident that the course has everyt Now if you want to know more about starting your own tint company sign up to our free webinar where myself and Tim will be giving away for completely free our five steps on starting your own business along with our blueprint on expansions.
