Duran's Window Tint was started in our garage in 1983. We were BLESSED with the opportunity to relocate the business to 1115 Millie Street in January 2000 after Raymond Sems, owner of South Texas Window Tint, retired from the tint business. Our two children, Marc Anthony and Mason Ashton, were both employed at Duran's Window Tint through LCISD co-op program. Marc is currently owner of MD Mobile Tinting, which services Fort Bend and surrounding counties. Mason, attended Blinn Jr. College in August 2013 and was employed as a window tinter for Texas Custom Outfitters in Navasota, Texas. In December 2013, Mason became ill and was finally diagnosed with Still's Disease ( Adult Rheumatoid Arthritis) in March 2014. During those four months, he spent 12 days in the hospital, dropping from 144 pounds to 116 pounds. With FAMILY & FRIENDS prayers and by the GRACE OF GOD, Mason is on his way to CLAIMING VICTORY over his diagnosis. Mason is currently managing the business on a full time basis. On November 21, 2013 the building which we were leasing was sold and we were forced to find another location by the end of the month. We put the SITUATION in GOD'S hands and KNEW he would take care of us like HE ALWAYS does! After hours of driving up and down Hwy 90, Hwy 36, FM 2218, Ave I and unable to find a location, I contacted a long time friend, Dan Ward. Without hesitation, Dan told me "come on by and we'll find you a spot." On November 26, 2013, a lease agreement was signed and Duran's Window Tint was BLESSED with a new address, 3818 Avenue H. We thought we would move November 26-30th and start business on December 1st but not even relocating could stop GOD BLESSING us with business! With the help and encouragement of Marc, Duran's Window Tint, has become Rosenberg's 3M Automotive Window Film Authorized Dealer.
