J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators

"Spend Less Time Airing Down...And More Time Off-Roading"

The idea for J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators started back in 1983, when two friends, Jon and Brian, ventured up to Lake Champlain in Vermont to meet up with family and friends for a weekend of ice fishing. On the long journey from Boston, MA, Jon mentioned that he needed an idea for his manufacturing engineering senior design project. Almost immediately, Brian mentioned the idea of a mechanism to automatically deflate your tires to a set PSI. Brian, who was from Cape Cod, would go to the beaches regularly and deflate his tires to improve his vehicle’s traction on the sand. He felt that the current deflation process of using a tire gauge and sharp object was long and tedious. Each tire had to be deflated individually and the tire pressure would have to be checked with the tire gauge over and over until the recommended PSI was reached. If you deflated your tire too far, it was a hassle to air it back up, only to deflate it again. They thought, “There must be a better way to do this!” After a year of research and tests, J.T. Brooks Automatic Tire Deflators was launched in 1984. Our commitment to quality is unmatched. We strive to meet 100% customer satisfaction. Our automatic tire deflators are 100% designed, manufactured, and assembled in the U.S.A. They are made of high quality brass and nickel plated to resist corrosion and rust. The tire deflators are sold in a set of four and are infinitely adjustable from 6-32 PSI. Tired of manually deflating your tires every time you leave the pavement? Once you calibrate a set of J.T. Brooks, these tire deflators can be used again and again to automatically deflate your tires to the calibrated PSI. Simply screw them on your tires and let them do the rest!
