Hi, Jim here. I have with me the 1969 L88, one of 116, a 19,882 original mile survivor. Now, this is a Bloomington Gold Judge survivor, NCRS Top Flight, and on. This car has been known in the industry. I've personally known this car since 1991. The gentleman by the name of Dr. Paul Noble owned it and up until, oh, I would say the late 90s he owned the car. And it traded hands a few times, some very notable collectors have owned this car. And we have it back. Now, this is an original paint car. It's had some touch up on it. But generally speaking, the interior is original. It still has the high octane sticker, the original is still on the center console. And it's one of these cars that comes along once in a lifetime. It's an original driveline. The engine's never been altered, changed. I don't know if it's ever been out. It's probably had a clutch over the years, but I know Paul bought the car back in the late 70s. And it had real short mileage on it back then. I mean, this car was parked during the gas crunch. And it just didn't get used much. But the car's never been raced. It's never been abused. I drove the car back in 1991 when Paul owned it. That's a story in and of itself. Ask me sometime when you see me. But that's a funny story. I'm just going to run through the what this car has. It has the dealer delivery from NCRS. It has an original title copy, the window sticker and tank sheet have been validated by the NCRS. That's enormous. I mean, there's two pieces of paper to have them on any Corvette or one thing to have them both validated or another, but then to have an L88 with them and have them validated, it's almost unheard of. So to have original window sticker and tank sticker, it'simply as good as it gets. And I can't emphasize that enough. The car was Judge Bloomington survivor. That's the original window sticker there. I have some history on the judging all the way back to 88. Got a 98 for then back in Carlisle 96, San Antonio 2006. And then some other titles. It's a copy of the title. This is an engine cylinder case authentication by Al Greening. If you don't know what that is, educate yourself that authenticates that the engine is the original engine, the original stamping from General Motors in the car. It's not a restoration engine. It's not a restamp. It is the original engine and that is done through forensic analysis. No dispute and to have again, window sticker, tank sticker, Bloomington survivor and, It doesn't get any better. This is the original build sheet. The identity n 7201. That corresponds with the dealer's own encode. All the options and the car was really well optioned at the time and just amazing. Some other Bloomington whole fame stuff. This thing, I remember back in what year was it? It was in 98. It was the special collection. It was in another special collection, the earthquake Bloomington gold. OEM, again original engine that OEM designates. It's an original engine car that was in 17. Survivor certificate back in 09 and just some other correspondence. But it's got really cool paperwork on it. Got a lot of notes here. Original titles. I'm pretty sure all the owner history is there. This is a letter in 1968 where the car was ordered from Nicky Chevrolet in Chicago. Richard Thomas was the guy who ordered it. So we've got correspondence letters there. I believe he was a military guy in the Air Force, something But it was through the General Motors overseas distribution that he ordered it. And I've got that paperwork here. It's just on and on. It's just unbelievable. This is all the order forms. So again, that corresponds with the rest of the paperwork. Original GM correspondence between the guy buying it and General Motors overseas distribution. Quite a few letters in there. He went back and forth a lot. He was from Marriott of Georgia. So I think he did try to order through Nicky Chevrolet and then they went through that because it was overseas and they had a special thing for people in the military. So When you look at L88s out there with these cars, they were built as drag race cars. They were listed at 430 horsepower, 5 horsepower under the 435. So the uneducated would check off the next box with the next horsepower up. But these things are 550 horsepower. General Motors didn't want them going into the hands of the public. And that's why they did that. But the 430 horsepower rating is actually, it's just a joke because the thing was, it's a race car. So to have one that wasn't raced, original paint, all that doc It is my opinion that this is the best L88 in existence, certainly one of the best doc So the value on the core, go find another one. There's not but a handful of original L88s out there. This is the original paint. Again, it's been touched up and still has some blemishes here and there. But generally speaking, we're going to call it original paint because most of the paint is original. I know most of the hood, if not all the hood was repainted. But I also know that had been done in lack or some time ago. And when they did that, it ended up making it check more. And it just, it looked pretty bad. This car hasn't, I've never seen this car look this good as well. The interior in this car is meant and it's original. So I don't need to do much of a sales pitch on the car. If you're in the market for an L88, stop looking by this car. It's impossible to shop. They don't come along with once, once in many, many years, a car I was involved in a sale of it back in the 90s. And then it's the last time I had an opportunity to sell it. It's an impossible car to replicate. So all that said, I won't make this any more lengthy than it has to be. But this is actually my favorite Corvette of all the ones I've ever, and I've dealt with thousands of Corvettes. This is my favorite. And for good reason, it's in my opinion, the best L88 out there.
