Bob's was opened in 1978 by my father after working at several area VW dealerships in both the parts and service depts. I have been at the family business full time since graduating high school in 1986 taking over when my father retired in 2008. Over the years the business has seen its changes. In the past we offered services for only VW and Audi, and it will continue to be our specialty. However we do service other vehicles on a regular basis. From time to time it was noticed that we would lose a valued loyal customer because they purchased another brand of import or domestic. Also we have customers that have several brands such as an Audi and a Toyota and were going to two separate repair shops. Mechanics have a bad image where they're taking advantage of different people, but when a woman gets involved in it, they communicate a lot better than a big old burly guy coming out and saying, hey, you need all t So with the communication that she has and the skills she has and the knowledge she has with cars, I mean, it's pretty remarkable.
