In 1956 Roberto Caprara found his way from central Italy to his new home in Troy, NY. Soon after, he started a family. Looking for a better life for his wife and children he opened Caprara's Auto Body in 1967 at the original location. By 1970 he expanded and moved to a new location and has been there since. This family operated business prides themselves on excellent service and experience. Most of the staff has been employed by Mr. Caprara for over 20 years.
