The cabin air filter is the filter that filters all of the air that goes inside of the ve And many times people ask us, Is it really necessary that I replace my cabin air filter? So on t And the cabin filter on t We had to remove t Let me just reach inside here, grab the cabin filter w And you can take a look at that and you can clearly see that this here has all kinds of seeds and stuff Probably had a little mouse or c And you can clearly see that t Now, a lot of times people want to know how do I know if it needs to be replaced? If it's just dirty or is it due? One way that Wix tells you to check is to take the filter and simply drop it on the floor. And as you can see, a lot of stuff fell out of that filter. That's a good indication that the filter is really dirty, well beyond its prime, probably restricting the airflow. And it should definitely be replaced. And that'somet Remember, all of t And that mold goes into the ventilation system. You start to breathe the mold so people with allergies are going to have a big impact. There are usually three different types of filters that you can replace it with. You can do an economy one, w The filter medi Then you have the mid-grade, w Very similar to the one we just took out. The pleats are much closer together. The filter material is really, really good.
