When I look for an attack anytime I am trying to recruit anybody I am looking at one aptitude. Do they have the attitude and the mentality to succeed. Obviously work ethic is very important to us. We are a very busy shop. We turn out a lot of business and customer service is very important to us. We are looking for The other thing I think when you come to work for a company We are looking at making sure that they understand where their interests are. Whether it is gear training, whether it is engine, whether it is electronics. We are going to try to tailor a training path that fosters that strength in that person. We are looking at the individual and where our needs are in the shop. For us it is important to have that comfort level with the techs and making sure that when they come on board they understand where they are going in their career. Day one we want to get you on to online training and send you to class as soon as possible and get you to that master certification. With master certification comes a pay increase so that is an important thing to us too to make sure that we are taking care of our employees that are taking care of themselves. Willing to invest that time in training is very important to us. Here at North American Truck Trailer we have tons of experience in doing different stuff. This job over here we are doing a complete side replacement. Moving the interior as needed. From all of that to minor fender repair on another job over here. Just a quick end, quick out type job to bear jobs right behind you. We have a couple cab spots where we are replacing the whole unit as needed. Right. Today we had two brand new cabs shipped in. We have two very large accidents from the last snowstorm that came in to our local customers and the smaller stuff. We do anything from $500 Rex to $100,000 Rex. We are very good from our service manager to our parts manager to a strong leader in our GM. We have excellent sales in the Omaha location. Very reputable in the Omaha area. All the techs are pretty friendly to get along with too. North American Truck and Trailer. We are a family owned and family operated company. I stress the family operated part because ownership one way or another is within our locations always available, always accessible, open door. If you have an issue you can go right to the key owner and sit down and have a conversation with him. He's more than happy to discuss things with you. Our shops, within the shop the most important thing is safety. We stress that everybody is empowered to make safety decisions. Everybody is empowered to stop anyone they see that is doing something that is not safe including the owner. The shop environment we try to make sure everybody is having a good time every day. Granted we need to get our work done and we need to get it done on a timely basis but it's much easier to do when everybody is getting along and having fun. That equates to all departments and it radiates out from all departments and it reflects to our customers as well when we're having a good time in the shop and we build relationships with the customers in the same way. Some of the benefits of coming to work for us especially in the service departments and body shop we offer tour reimbursement programs, tuition reimbursement programs, scholarship sponsorship programs as well as apprenticeship programs while you're going to school. When you're doing those apprenticeship programs we try to get as much OEM training done as we can so when you are done with school and come to work for us full time you are ready to start attending the classrooms. The training side for us is very important. It helps you grow as a technician and us grow as a company. The company pays for all OEM training whether it is on site or at remote locations. The opportunity for personal growth within the company is quite large. We have 23 locations in 11 cities in 5 different states. If something ever comes up and you need to move and we have something available we're very supportive to get that done. You always have the opportunity to move up within the company. We love to promote from within. We've had service techs and parts counter people to move up into management positions. The company supports everything you want to do to grow from training to cross training into other departments or transferring to other stores within the company.
