What's up everybody, I am in front of my 2022 Ford Mustang Mucky and I had a few questions or someone had a few questions about window tint. So I have window tint on this car, can't really tell too much here and I did that on purpose. I'll go over what tint I have. So there condition is electric. If you didn't know it doesn't use a belt because of the electric car. So if you're going to use more electricity it's going to be more battery cons So you want to cool your car as fast as possible so that way it's not retaining too much heat and taking a long time to cool. So I Some people worry about skin cancer which makes sense too. Another thing is again temperature, you feel the heat and speaking of heat that's why this tint here is ceramic coating or ceramic not coating ceramic tinting. So the brand I've used is by L I used it on my Tacoma when I was out in the desert and it was So I know it's a very good product. So let's go over the tint here. So the tint in front is a coating of what they call Air 80. It is 80s. And each time you see a n So 80% visible light enters, 20% is blocked. So the smaller the n So I want clear visibility so Air 80 is in the front but it has a UV blocking or a heat rejection of a darker tint So up in front it's a little bit hard to see it inside. This is 35% tint. So you can see the Ford stuff here so it would generally be clear. So it's 35% tint. The rear and the hatch is 50% tint. So it's already tinted in the back And So I open the door There's no problem. Let's go inside here. A little bit quieter too. In addition legality in California says you can't have anything below 70% light transmission. So this is Air 80. Totally meets the specs. So there's not going to be any trouble here at all. This one technically is not legal. This is 35. Depending on Just FYI if you were to do an Air 80 you should be safe. It's 70% tint as well for this one and the windshield. All right. So Air 80 you can see it's very clear. So you can see right throughout here they can see you but again the tinting or the rejection is very high heat rejection. So your dashboard won't get too hot. You won't feel the heat when you're driving towards the sun. This is again the 35. You can still see it's very clear. It's not dark at all. And the 50. So let's back up here so you can see 50 35. Can't really tell the difference outside. You can tell obviously it's going to be a little bit different. Anything behind you and the hatch could be as dark as you want. You want to go triple limo or just paint spray painted dark so you can't see anything. Doesn't matter as long as it's not these front windows or this front windshield light transmission and then the rear as well. So that is my tint. There's a lot of tint out there. There are usually very good brands. Lifetime warranties everything So the bigger deal is to look for a good tinter. Someone that doesn't leave dust inside here or bubbles or creases or anything When they install it here FYI especially this one when you first get installed the AD gets very hazy so don't be scared. The tint has to dry out so it's going to take a little while for it to be clear. So it's fuzzy at first. They should advise you Give it a few hours. If you install on a hot day it's the best because it will dry out faster. If you install wintertime especially I doubt the east coast guy is doing it in snow but I'm in SoCal so we don't have to worry about snow but the cooler temperatures take longer to evaporate the tint. That means you can't really roll down these windows as easily or should roll down the windows unless they really dry it beforehand. But again it is normal to be hazy. Give it a few days up to a week to let it clear and then if it looks still hazy then talk to your tinter. That's about it. Any questions or comments let me know. If you already have tint let me know what tint you got and how dark you got it. Alright thanks guys.
