Over the past thirty years we have successfully completed over 50,000 auto body repairs and welcome this opportunity to restore your vehicle.
At Philip Thearle’s Autowerks, we’re proud to have provided San Diego County residents with Best-In-Class auto body and paint repairs since 1983! Our genesis in the BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche restoration world required a business model with the bar set well above “Industry Standard”…… and these same standards have lived on for the last thirty years for the benefit of all of our auto body repair customers, regardless of their car’s make or model. Manufacturer-specified auto repair equipment and methodologies, insistence on original factory parts coupled with the most modern facility in the Southwest all contribute to a level of quality and service unique in our collision repair industry. We are San Diego County’s only Jaguar / Land Rover Certified Aluminum Auto Repair Center, a Factory Authorized BMW Aluminum Auto Repair Center as well as the lone Infiniti / Nissan Certified Collision Center. Ours is a family business and we feel blessed to have enjoyed an exceptional 18 year relationship with The Automobile Club of Southern California as one of their premier providers. We are also proud to maintain Direct Repair Programs with the some of the best insurers in our marketplace; Wawanesa, Allstate and Esurance, greatly streamlining those auto claims processes. We negotiate with all the others on your behalf to ensure quality and service consistent with our reputation and auto body repairs. Over the past thirty years we have successfully completed nearly 50,000 auto body repairs and welcome this opportunity to restore your vehicle back to its former pristine condition. Stop by our collision repair facility…..we’d love to take you on a shop tour and you’ll see just what it is that sets us apart from our competitors!
My name is James Warran. I am a carosserie builder and I have been doing this for a long time. Over the years I had many helpers. At the time, about 4 or 5 people who used to be my helpers used to work here. They will go to the race next year. I am sure that I will come back to meet my friends there and eat with them on the afternoon. Do you think they will miss you? I think so. I worked with them for many years. Thousands, yes countless cars. I can't even remember how many I touched. There are a lot of them. And I see cars on the street that I repaired years ago. I think I worked on this car and now it's been 10 years and it'still on the street. And not only that, my former employees always ask me, Hey, how are you doing? And I look at them and think, do I know you? And then, don't you remember me from 20 years ago at Phil? Blah. And I think, wow, I can't remember. I'm sorry. But how are you doing?
