SAL Auto is an automotive service and repair shop. Operating as a non-profit, all proceeds go directly towards hard-working, low-income single mothers.
SAL Auto is a full-service auto repair and maintenance facility where the general public can have their vehicles serviced. The proceeds earned from everyday repair and maintenance jobs directly fund auto repairs needed by low-income single parents who are either working, enrolled in job training programs, and/or attending school in order to further their education and secure employment. These single parents rely heavily on their vehicles to transport themselves to work and/or school and their children to school, childcare, healthcare visits, and other supportive services. When a single parent is already living paycheck-to-paycheck the cost of critical automotive repair can be the tipping point that sends a family into a downward spiral. SAL Auto was established to help make sure that doesn’t happen.
