What's going on y'all 27 squared back with another video for I'm doing an after install video So going over you kind of things I figured out throughout the process That might be helpful to I'm filming from the back because Get you a better angle so 10 inch touchscreen I also Installed a front-facing and rear-facing camera that did add a little complexity to the install Overall, I really do T So I didn't know that at first and I kept having my Phone plugged in here and CarPlay was not displaying So on your home screen the icons light up as they're accessible Figured out that the plug that I had down at the bottom That was actually connected to the back was in the wrong spot in the back I needed to move it to the correct spot And then our CarPlay came on and now works perfectly fine as you'll see click into it Get all your normal menus you would on Any other So that's the first thing Apple CarPlay just know that you it does only connect if you connect both USBs in the back Well, I guess probably only if my car is on But it does trigger the rear one I tried it earlier So cameras were cameras work you do have Let'see here Bluetooth audio and phone do light up those are accessible but since I'm using CarPlay is the one that currently works. I do have an HDMI cord in my glovebox. You can connect HDMI. I have noticed that Trying to use It says they're not available to view on t So Let'see here You got a nice knob here for your vol There's a lot of harnesses It was a lot of work to get all the pieces in there's not a lot of room in the data be I just ran it through Everything again, you'll see all that in an install video And then the rear camera So I did the package that came with the free camera now another thing to know the free camera That comes with the kit will not work out of the box with a Jeep Wrangler You can utilize it for A different camera so I also had I also ordered a front-facing camera here That one I bought and the one that came free With the package doesn't have The Jeep mount doesn't have the rear tire Mount that you need in order to hook it up here It came with a license plate mount which you might be able to figure out with Jeep But our license plate mounts are weird So just know if you order the free one does not come with the amount the mount you need for the rear tire I ordered the front-facing camera With the mount and then use them out for the free camera that came with the kit and Then mounted the front-facing camera as well You have to take apart all these panels and everything to get this camera fed in They say that this thing's fully plug-and-play, which okay Yeah, you could connect a bunch of harnesses in that aspect that's plug-and-play But you do have to have some knowledge of what you're doing I did have to splice some wires and stuff to Get power to both the front and rear facing camera So there is some stuff you'll have to Well, the problem is that fender well is attached to on the Sahara So I did take these apart It gave me a little bit of extra access but you really have to squeeze under there to be able to cut through the grommet and I've seen I've seen online that part of it is if you've got too long of a cord I've got So I'll have it plugged in and then I put my phone over there I did order a three foot cord though. I'm gonna see if that helps at all with Making it so the screen isn't as It's just a little bit. It's a little bit faded or blurry, but I did hear that it's part of your cord I miss too long. It's just that signal transferring. So It's obviously a much larger screen and format than a normal CarPlay, I mean that was doing front and rear camera again That took some time just being able to get the front camera installed Getting the cords from the engine bay through the grommet into the interior of my glove box That was the hardest part honestly There's only like one access point really so that was kind of tough Make sure you wire in your power So there's an accessory power In the rear of the Jeep where you'll connect your rear of your camera if you do a front camera When you connect your wireless harness for the rear view camera There's a wireless box that's gonna go up actually behind the head unit and one of the Tethers one of the harnesses I guess for the camera there are two Cords a red and a black accessory power cord They've got weird attachments like a plug attachment on them But I didn't have anything to plug into those so I just stripped the wire I connect the front camera to that accessory power and then also the wireless harness for the rear camera to that same one So just make sure you get all that hooked up appropriately There's a lot of stuff that goes behind the unit on this so just know Fitting everything in there is gonna take some time But if you have any questions about the install process feel free to I hope it helps answer at least some questions Again leave any comments if you have any t
