What I really No matter what I'm doing, I'm around cars. It's one of my hobbies and passions and I just love being able to have that in my workplace as much as I do. Because I went to BCIT, I chose BCIT as my school, that is exactly why I stepped foot into a BMW shop. BCIT had a program with BMW doing a job fair. My teacher submitted me into the job fair and I was lucky enough to be picked by Park Shore, and that's why I'm here, is because of BCIT. BCIT prepared me for t As being an apprentice, you're not going to be doing big jaws when you first start out. You're going to be cleaning the shop, you're going to be doing ties, you're going to be doing breaks, no matter what shop you're into. But BCIT is still in your level one. We do engines, I've taken half an engine apart already in school, and they just prepare you for everyt So when you come into the shop, first time ever in a shop, you can really surprise some of the technicians of how much stuff you already know.
