Today I'm going to be reviewing and demoing CoverFX Custom Enhancer Drops. These are so incredibly popular and so very hyped and today I wanted to dive into seeing whether or not they are worth all of the hype and also whether or not they are worth the money because these are quite pricey. To be exact, they cost $42 for 15 mil or 0. 5 ounces. This is exactly why I wanted to make this video because I wanted to show Again, because it is expensive, you don't want to buy it if you don'think you're going to There are seven shades in t Now I believe Moonlight is actually the most popular shade out of all of them and I was considering buying Moonlight except it did not look that great on my skin. Moonlight is a really pretty lighter highlighter but it is a cooler undertone highlighter or meant for somebody with a cooler undertone and I have a warmer undertone so for me it was just a little bit too pink and just did not look quite right or how I So I went with a color called Sunlight w I think it's the best color I could have chosen out of the range but I wish they had a color that was kind of I believe that's the color name, it'something It's a pretty color nonetheless and there are a lot of different colors to choose from. Seven is not So t It's not glittery or glossy, it's uniform and really there are three different ways that you can use these custom enhancer drops. One way is my favorite, I'm gonna mention that later on but the first way is wearing t You can either layer this on your entire face or you can layer this in certain areas and then layer your foundation or primer or whatever on top and this will create a bit of a shimmer of a glow, a bit of a doing this effect and it would sort of create a glow from within if Of course it depends on how much makeup you're gonna put on top so if you're gonna put a lot of makeup on top maybe you're not gonna have as much of a glow as you would otherwise but it does create a nice bit of a sheen for underneath if you Another way is mixing this into your makeup products whether it is a primer or foundation which is probably my favorite way of doing that as far as You can mix it into your eyeshadows or concealer if you want to. If you're gonna be mixing t If that'somet In fact It does have a beautiful finish if you do that if you Now the caveat there is that these drops will alter the color of your foundation a little bit or can. So if you add So say if your foundation has Okay and the last way of wearing these drops and it's my favorite way is layering t You can layer t Yes you heard that right t I know mind blown. But yeah so you can layer this on top and the reason I My skin produces so much oil and it's just not gonna work for my skin type. Again I mentioned other ways because you might want that for your skin type but for mine it's just So those are the three ways that you can use these drops. Again my favorite way is layering it on top of a makeup and that's exactly how I'm gonna show you how I do it. When you unscrew the cap the applicator here is a droplet type of a situation. You have to be somewhat careful t You don't want to just take t A little goes along away with t Don't overdo it and I would suggest building t You don't want to just like d So though the formula is t So don'think that I'm going to use a dampened makeup sponge to apply t I'm getting a little bit of t You see how it's a little bit too pink for me? My skin has As I told you a little goes a long way here. Now I do have texture and acne at the moment so I'm not gonna go too crazy with this is actually a good product for people that have texture but still want a little bit more highlighting going on I do have lots of texture, lots of acne, lots of congestion but highlighters only the thing to use nowadays Take a little bit again a little goes a long way. It's really easy to blend t Again you can use your fingers as well if you want to. I always do a little bit of I'm gonna bring it down my nose see that and then I'm going to bring it right down to the very tip of my nose. One side is I'm curious to see if Look at that glow I mean just look at it's almost blinding if I may say so myself. Now on the other hand t I do have a bit of oil production going on because my skin is oily and it is kind of hot in here but you can see that there is not nearly the same level of I mean look at t Bam crickets. Bam sadness. I absolutely love it. It is perfect for daytime because there is not It blends super well. It does not leave any texture. It is very incredibly reflective yet. It does not feel chunky. It looks a lot more natural than most other highlighters so it's perfect for daytime and as far as accentuating texture you can definitely see my little pimples and pores here but it's not as bad as other highlighters make it and un It'so t And I also did a flash test to see and show you guys how this highlighter looks I'm gonna insert a picture that I took just now. I'mainly focused on my brow bone and my cheek area and you see how super reflective t You can also add t I usually don't do t You can also add them to your pout. And then if you want to go a little bit So the high points of your chest for example I just kind of forget to add And again it doesn't look chunky or glittery. It looks Look at that beautiful s I mean look at just this beautiful dewiness even though I don't have any lotion or anything It does look So these are truly incredibly versatile drops. I they sit really well in the skin. They are Now the two things that I don't N It is 42 dollars but again you're going to be using very little of it because a little goes a long way so there'some comfort there. And then the last t I think they have a good variety of colors but I think the one color I wish they had is that peachy golden color It's just a nice peachy color that looks really pretty on a bit of a fake tan or somebody with If you really want to try they send emails with these sales or these coupons and they're not often I would say they probably come every couple months but that's how I buy my expensive makeup is they just wait for that 20% off of everyt Again you kind of have to You don't want to buy things you wouldn't buy otherwise because that's the whole reason for giving you that I think it'so that is it for my video I hope
